MQ Triton LED Driving lights

Postby JGriffiths31 on Mon May 27, 2019 7:02 pm

Hey all, I got some stedi type x pro driving lights for my 2018 gls triton. Got them wired up but somehow when I switch them on, they come on with my headlights? I’m assuming I’ve put the piggy back adapter in the head light connector instead of the high beam. Can someone please help me because I can’t seem to work it out.

Yes, you've connected them to the low beam.

You could just look up the wiring diagram in the online manual in the Forum DIRECTORY, above, but I suspect that this may not solve your problem.

Let's start by understanding the connection you've made with the "piggy back connector". Can you put up a picture of this, in situ, showing how it's been connected? Also pictures of any other components and maybe the instructions that came with the lights or harness, if you bought one.

If work is so terrific, why do they have to pay us to do it?
