Mr triton front speaker replacement

Postby Brutalbass on Sun Jul 03, 2022 8:19 pm

Hi, I'm in the process of replacing the front speakers o an nr triton. I have used adaptors plugged into the factory wires then into alpine splits. On turning on the head unit it shows an error message to return to the dealer. I removed erything and placed the stock speakers back in and the the car started no issues. Any thoughts. Thanks

And the error on the head unit was 'An error occurred to the connection to this vehicle. Return to service centre.'

I'd do exactly what it tells you to do. It's picked up some kind of internal fault or a fault with the connection, not a fault with your Triton.

If work is so terrific, why do they have to pay us to do it?

If your new speakers have crossover circuits they may be polarity consciousness.

Check that the positive side from the amp isn't going to the negative terminal on the speakers.
