Mirror indicators lamps poor illumination

Postby andelect on Mon Sep 11, 2023 9:17 am

All of a sudden, both of MQ triton mirror indicator lamps have poor illumination.
When operational, they both have very small illumination at the ends of the lamps, but nothing along the remaining length of the LED strip. Strange how both of these have occurred at the same time.
I did get a replacement lamp to trial on one mirror, connected in and exactly the same as existing..... end lights up pretty poorly, no illumination along the length.
I removed and hooked the new lamp to a 12V battery, and works as it should.

Has anyone else have this occurred and can point me to where the problem may be?

Check your wiring for a poor earth connection.
Chris

If work is so terrific, why do they have to pay us to do it?
