MQ aftermarket diff lock

MQ aftermarket diff lock

Given that the diff lock was dropped from all but the Exceed has anyone sourced an aftermarket diff lock?

I'm looking at the Eaton e-locker or the ARB air locker...Not sure which is the better option.

Read about a new product in unsealed 4x4 online mag. Looked pretty cool as it allowed you to retain the lsd functionality. Not sure on availability maybe do a Google.

I thought the MQ only had an open diff with tc?

Sounds like a good thing for the ML though 8-)

This caplocker looks the ducks nuts.

So would it install along with the super select front diff? Would be the ultimate combo, esp with the 2wheel drive in low range mod. Who else would offer that?

I'm interested but it's looks like the idea has been floated around for a while.

Will/has it gone into production :?:

Opposite Lock are installing an E-locker to my GLS today, I'll let you know how it all goes. I'm usually not keen on doing any major work (involving driveline/engine) to a new car but after a recent trip to Lake Lyell I was in desperate need of a locker in one spot. Overall the car went well with the factory traction control but a diff lock in this particular section would've made all the difference, instead I had to try different lines and spun the tyres more than I'd preferred.

Reviving this old thread, which diff lock option is best for an MQ with Super Select?
