Anyone put a set of pajero 265/60/18 on their MQ? I'd be interested in hearing how it went or didnt

from what I have read of the regs recently

you cannot narrow the wheel track

standard offset of the triton is +38

standard Pajero is +46

so using pajero rims would narrow the wheel track in total by approx. 20mm

not much and has been done before but better to know and make that decision rather than be caught out.

(oh and there are a few pajero owners that would love to swap out 18" rims for 17") so should be cheap

The other way to go is after market rims. There are heaps of options with +30 to +35 offset which would be legal.

As far as 265/60r18s go, I'm running 265/65r17s (same diameter) on aftermarket +35 rims and they are good. Haven't noticed any reduction in performance and the speedo is a bit closer to correct than with the factory rubber.
