Which A/T's do you use on your MQ? and why?

Hi Everyone, I'm keen for the largest legal size for the KO2's. Mostly for unsleaded roads, nothing too rough, but plenty of beach work. Just thought I'd throw the topic out there to see what everyone is using.

Bridgestone Duellers AT are a great tyre , we have 8 klm of very rough gravel road until we hit tar , done daily , not one puncture , good grip in the wet and icey roads here in the central tablelands during winter , and they are coming upto 80,000 , with plenty of tread left. We dont do serious 4wding , but was so wet during winter they went great on some pretty wet sloppy areas on our road with ute in 4H

My previous set of tyres were Bridgestone Dueller AT (Light Truck) in 265/75 and they wore very well and were excellent road tyres, quiet and steered and braked like road tyres. They were damage free off road and worked well in dry conditions however they didn't perform as well in wet or muddy conditions.

My current set of tyres are Maxxis AT980 Bravo AT in 265/75 and they are wearing well, they are not as responsive to steering on road and they feel to have a looser feel when cornering compared to the Dueller AT tyres but they work better off road when it's wet and muddy (still not up to a set of Mud Terrain tyres though).

Toyo at2 in 265/65 17

Why= legal size upgrade with lift. Cost. Looks. Positive reviews

Good grip in wet, almost as quiet as factory hts on road. Not as good as hts on sand, but no chunky tyre is. Just run lower pressure to get more footprint

Yokohama Geolander in 265/65/17.

Legal upgrade, spot on speedo, quiet and good grip.

Good all rounder, however is not steel belted. Though I got a deal with Bob Jane T-Marts for free replacements.

Just fitted 265 65 17 Hankook RF10 AT-M. So far so good. Very quiet, seems to be pretty good on the road. Will let you know how they go off road.

Iv just put some 275/65r17's on my gls and they fit very nicely without a lift. You do need the 17x7.5" alloys that come with the gls and exceed as 7.5" wide is the minimum rim width for 275's. I went with toyo open country at2's as Iv heard good things about them being very puncture resistant and also being as good on road as they are off-road. They look mighty good too! $269 a tyre in Perth was very reasonable too.

Picked up 5 Brand New Dunlop Grand Trek AT-20, 265/65-17 only done dealer delivery 150km, Brand New spare, by the time I got the Dunlops swapped over, balanced, sold off my original Duelers, with only 12000km on them,it worked out they ended up costing me $50 each

Cant believe how quiet and smooth they are ( running 38 psi ) ;)

All I can say is keep an eye open on Gumtree as its amazing how many people sell off their brand new wheels and tyres only to fit bloody 20s , and they let the originals go for a song ;)

And now my speedo is with in a bees dick of being spot on

I know Dunlop market them as an all terrain, but the tread pattern and construction is very much highway orientated, which is why they are quiet and smooth.

There's nothing wrong with them if you spend most of your time on the bitumen, but the OP is considering tyres like the KO2, which are a 'proper' light truck all terrain.
GLS MQ Triton, ARB Summit front, rear and side bars, Carryboy canopy and rack, Dobinson heavy duty suspension, Harrop rear E-locker, Drifta drawers and a few other bits and pieces.
