Wheel nuts for steels/alloys

Wheel nuts for steels/alloys

Postby 2017Triton on Wed Nov 25, 2020 9:43 am

Hi,

Looking for advice... are the wheel nuts for OE steel wheels the same as for OE alloys?

I’m planning an upgrade but the alloys would come without nuts.

Thanks.

No they are nut.... sorry, not. 8-)

Do not try to make do. Alloy wheel nuts have washers on them, steelies do not.

if you are friendly with your service department, ask them. We always have some lying around after wheel swaps

Maybe check with Mitsubishi? How do you explain the fact a GLX comes with four alloys and a steel spare?

He just did.

Because the alloy wheel bolts fit the steel spare, they have the cone shape built in.
