Air bags

Air bags

Postby Aza08 on Mon Jan 29, 2018 7:50 am

Has anyone fitted a set of airbags to their MQ looking at putting in a helper kit in my exceed to stop the sag in the rear, cant really go with a lift kit due to accessibility issues with my garage and parking so I think a set of standard height airbags might be the go, just want to know if its worth the effort, im only weighing in at 2.54t but the exceed must have comfort springs in the rear, i seem to get mixed reviews about bags bending chassis advise please :?

I run them on my MN for years without breaking anything.

Trick is to only use them to assist the rear springs not to take all the load

You can get also uprated springs, that have STD ride height.
