MQ Tub Liner Help

MQ Tub Liner Help

Postby seb7701 on Tue Sep 03, 2019 6:26 pm

Hi Guys.

Wondering if anyone can shed light on whether the Mitsi factory tub liners have cut-outs to access the factory tie-down points? All the googling in the world seems to show mixed pictures, some with and some without???

I recently grabbed an ironman canopy and liner....the canopy's great but the liner is SHITE! Covers every tie-down and seems to sit about 2-3inches out from the tub on all sides??? Lot of wasted space...

Recommendations for a good liner are welcome!!

Cheers.

From my enquiries with Iron Man, they do not make an Under the rail Liner for a mq, sounds like they just stuck a liner in yours that was not meant to be

No, it's an over rail liner. It seems to fit enough to say it's the right one, but just ridiculous gaps between the sides and front wall...

Has it got some form of I/d marking, if it has ring up and enquire about it and ask the question, why is it such a sloppy fit

Mitsi factory under rail liners have cut outs, at least mine does but as the tie down points extend out the liner i don't think they wouldn't come with cut outs. Unless its an over rail version

My MQ Had factory tub liner fitted, but not all the tie downs were accessible.
Found tub liner to be too slippery even with a rubber mat.
On installing wiring through rear light for Tub Battery I had to remove the liner and found all the extra tie downs. Dont want to refit the liner.

The Dealer fitted accessory does not come with all the holes cut out. Part of fitting it is to cut out the extra holes. Obviously some dealers have untrained staff doing PD prep
