Throttle Controller for MR Triton

Re: Throttle controllers

Hi all,
I've just bought a 2019, MR Triton GLS and was wondering about fitting an iDrive. In particular, I was curious about its
trace-ability with the Service guys. Are they simply not traceable when they have been disconnected?

Please do not cross post.

Yes, they are not traceable - unless you leave fingerprints on the electrical connections. :P

If work is so terrific, why do they have to pay us to do it?

The service guys couldn't care less if you have a throttle controller attached. The only thing it does is amplify the signal from the accelerator pedal (so the ECU just thinks you have your foot further down than you actually do). It has no effect on the tuning of the engine so no need to remove it when you have the vehicle serviced.
GLS MQ Triton, ARB Summit front, rear and side bars, Carryboy canopy and rack, Dobinson heavy duty suspension, Harrop rear E-locker, Drifta drawers and a few other bits and pieces.

Just put your foot down harder!

Save the money and put it towards a chip if you want more poke.

After driving my son's MR (auto) a couple of weeks ago, I thought the performance and response was pretty good for a diesel.
Don't let the b'strds get you down!!
