QLD Flood Relief Pledge Thread

Postby Homer on Wed Jan 12, 2011 7:50 am

Hi members.

The comradery and support that everyone on here has shown towards the people suffering during this disaster has been absolutely overwhelming.

As you know we are setting up bank account information today to take in any donations that members have kindly offered.

In support of this we are now opening this thread to receive pledges of donations to this account.

Some people may wish to remain anonymous and of course that is fine too.

I would like to say right here from the beginning, that we all realise not everyone is in a position to pledge large donations. Every single member that pledges anything at all in support of the people in crisis is a champion!

Please do not pledge if you feel your situation may not allow you to donate the funds.

There are just a couple of rules.

1. Pledge your money in the first line.

2. If you wish to make a comment about your pledge you are free to do so.

3.All general non pledge comments will be deleted...keep them for the "Flood" thread please :)

4. As posted in the Bank account thread. If you wish to remain anonymous please PM Global Mods so we can track and account for the donation.

Thank you.

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything important, it's too late to stop reading it.

count me in for a $100, wish it could be more  (transfer made)

I just want to reiterate, that if you are not in a position to donate, then thats no reflection on your compassion and understanding in these trying times ;)

Don't wish to be mean guys, but this thread is for pledges only as requested above.

We do appreciate your comments but we need to keep this thread on track so that we can manage it or we may just slip up and take your mention of $ as a pledge from your post.
