What I'm looking for atm are fitouts for the tubs of vehicles like mine. Best use of space, accessibility with the side windows etc. I've made a start of some drawers, where would I find pics of other DIY setups? I refuse to fork out big $ for something I can make myself- mightn't look as pretty but does the same job. Attaching drawers to the tray? What have others done?I put some pics of humble beginnings in shed.
One other question- my knees are uncomfortably close to the steering wheel when changing gears (with boots on), but the wheel is as far up as if goes and the seat as far back as is comfortable. Is there a solution for that?

i used nutserts drilled into the tray where i could not get the existing holes to line up and some angle brackets to hold mine down but i have a 'best offroad' unit.

in my opinion you don't need massive fit off capacity. I think i used four locations (2 forward and 2 rear) with probably M8 or 10 bolts. Never moved yet.

By 'existing holes' you mean? I have a tub liner, can't see any holes- pull that out? I was thinking only 4 points anyway. I was thinking I might just drill some... bottom up of course. Nutserts go in the ply, right?

why have a tub liner with drawers? it is costing you depth.

nutserts go into the tub floor not the plywood.

you are going to need to drill through the tub liner.

here are some examples. The small rivet type gun is very hard when using steel nutserts in the larger sizes.

There are some existing holes with screws in them. 3 each side towards the rear and some across the front. They might be useable but pull the liner and see what you think.

The Arb drawers use bolts through locations where there is a cross bar underneath so as to give you double thickness of metal to secure to.

I have an MN TRITON 2015 and wondering if anybody has noticed the ABS comes on when turn corners or acceleratting, also I've noticed an engine "knocking" sounds in the engine when starting on a cold morning and during floating ( neither averaging or bracking eg at a set of lights) the knocking. Just wondering if someone could link some more thread or article to help me, called a couple of dealership and they aren't to concerned about t

It's not ABS (anti-lock braking system) but ASC (active stability control) that you're feeling. The ASC cuts engine power when it thinks you might be in a skid. Can be interesting when you're trying to get into a gap in the traffic and there's a B-Double bearing down on you.

It's common to confuse the two and also common to experience the problem. Turn the ASC off if you're in what might be one of those situations, or go a bit easier on the loud pedal.

All diesels clatter. Some more, some less. Mitsubishi diesels are in the former category.
