Another new one

G'day guys, thought I better introduce myself here...

Just ordered a new GLX-R CDI Man with towpack and uteliner. Never been a real big Mitsubishi fan however these new Tritons have sold me. I have been through a few different cars, I originally had a couple of Commodore Utes, VP & VS then in 04 I purchased a brand new Toyota Hilux SR5 V6, middle of last year I sold it due to a number of issues. These consisted of mainly fuel price and seeing a large price drop on what I had paid, I then sold it and purchased an 07 VZ SVZ Holden Ute, I got it for a good price however I missed the 4WD and dual cab capabilities. I do a fair bit of Enduro MX and Mountain Biking and I was limited a fair bit with my flash ute....sold it for what I paid which was good...

So after doing a little bit of research I found the Hilux has become overpriced, the Navara engine appeared to small and didn't have a good report, the Rodeo/Colorado seemed a little bit outdated (in style), the Ranger/BT-50 were a little bit pricey for what I wanted....when you compare these vehicles to the Triton you can't compare to the 5/10yr Warranty and 5yr Roadside assist included all the other little things thrown in...

So anyway, here I am awaiting my new Triton, I just read the Overlander Feb Issue and it was pleasing to see it rated 5th overall.....

My next step is to purchase some Spotties and a UHF, I think the GME TX 3440 and a pair of LightForce (we have them on our work trucks now and they look like a solid setup)....

Welcome Racer... As Triton owner, you may find your name somewhat of a misnomer... By comparison to my old 2.8TD Rocky, perhaps the name holds some merit...
