Hi Guys,
Just took delivery of my new GLX-R. Had to pick it up from the Hunter region so the drive back to the foot of the Blue Mountains
gave me a good opportunity to get aquainted (a wet Putty Road keeps you on your toes). I'm impressed. Previously had a
Navara D40 and the longer I owned it, the more I hated it.

This is the first oil burner that I've owned and already have a grin from ear to ear in regards to the fuel consumption.

The first addition will be a bull bar. I've got my eye on the Ironman bar but I'm a bit worried about the cutting involved.
Does anyone know of a bar out there that can bolt straight on without cutting the panels?

Anyway, hi to all and look forward to trolling through all the posts on the site.

Thanks
Xr8ba

Welcome xr8 8-)

There is only one bar that fits without cutting, by ECB - I'll let you draw you own conclusions about how it looks compared to Ironman, ARB and others...

Cheers and enjoy your new toy

Hey Buzzy

Just uploaded some pics of the old girl into my profile for you to have a squiz at.
After I got her back, she wasnt quite the same. doesnt really look like 16K damage.
This tool who had just been released from jail decided to pull out in front of me.
Just my luck, no licence or insurance.
Anyway, after the xr8 I went a Navara (lets not go there) and now the Triton.

Mainly little things.
Didnt like the notchy gear box, seats were not comfy, the foam seal along the bottom of
the windscreen along the dash decided that it wanted to sit on top of the dash.
When you started the thing from cold it wanted to rev its tits off (up to 3000rpm)
before it settled down to abt 1500rpm till it warmed up.
But the main thing was the fuel comsumption and a slight knock either from the
diff or the gearbox.
Having said that my business partner has one and he loves it.
Going to try to talk him into a Triton though.
