09 V6 GLX-R

G'day all......Proud new owner of 09 V6 GLX-R. Hadn't really planned on getting the petrol version but one came up in the set-up we wanted at a price we couldn't pass up - $7400 :D (Does have a few k's on it, though still in outstanding condition...and looks like it's never been taken off-road). First proper 4WD we've owned; already taken it out to some local 4WD spots :D
Not too much customising planned. Putting new BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A K02 on it this weekend. Then bash plate upgrade, bullbar and winch. Lift kit? Eh, we'll see ;)
Cheers, Phil.

fantastic, none of the massive maintenance expense of the CRD, I love the 3.2 in my Triton it does everything I need, just wish they had developed this engine with hydraulic lash adjusters so it did not need everything taken off to get to them at regular intervals..and how about the difference in cost between diesel injectors and glow plugs and spark plugs and petrol injectors...perhaps Mitsu should look at developing the 3.5 petrol with a low pressure turbo to make it something to consider again and be a huge point of difference to the 2.0l turbos powertrains coming out now....does yours have the auto or manual super select gearbox...

nice purchase- super select is very cool and only a few made in the petrol version.
Think the tow rating is limited and lower than the diesel but that would be a small concern (2300 to 2500kg)

I know someone how has a low pressure supercharger in their triton V6 :geek: :geek:
