Greetings.

I own an 11 month old Triton, purchased new. Fitted with an ARB bull-bar & canopy. I found the nudge bar, lid and so called roll bar to be more than useless, & though they were part of the deal when purchased, they went.

I live in Broken Hill N.S.W. & I use the vehicle to tow a 20 ft van.

Not really, I have owned two Disco's and a Rover car. I continue to have a soft spot for that make.

My Disco stated to cost me money and as I travel up north a good deal, the mechanical places see you coming, plus there are very few agent's in that part of the world, and parts take days & days to arrive from either Perth or Adelaide, and that is if it is the right bit. Been there and done that thankyou!

I used a new Hilux as a work vehicle and it impressed me, but value for money, it just didn't match up with the Triton. And...who made the Japanese Navy O (Zero) fighter during WW2 - Mitsubishi!

This will probably be the last FWD I buy, it's my fourth, and the way things are going, very likely my last vehicle, period, before we start to eat dog food or deliver junk mail in order to survive.

Don't forget they lost the war so maybe not the best advert for them.

Hey Dick and welcome.

I know how you feel.

I find My Dog is best but once the end of the week comes and the budget is stretched it's Chum - so chunky you can carve it!

Gotta love the Americans.

My wifes a former convent girl, so on Friday's we have a treat "Kitty Kat".

I've got some tinned pet food that I had when I worked. The writing on the outside of the can is Chinese, well, I think it is, and there is a picture of a Collie dog. We don't know if the contents are for dogs or they are what the picture represents.

I suppose when we go into recession fully, I'll find out.

Anyway, being serious, thanks everyone for the welcome. I'll make a contribution when I see something of interest.
