long time listener, first time caller....

Postby fridgie on Wed Mar 25, 2009 7:56 pm

Howdy Folks,
Fridgie is the name and absolutely lovin my triton is why I'm here!! Have been a member for a while now but finally have had some dollars to be able to get some tyres and gear and start actually using my beautiful beast like it should be so I thought I'd throw my 2 cents in. I have read many of the conversations from the site and would like to thank everyone for the amunition to get my steering fixed properly and the dang squeak in the rear suspension sorted after it was first purchased, also for the laughs and great stories and pics from all. Nothing much to say about the mods, factory tow bar and rear diff locker (think I was one of the lucky ones - signed the contract after being told at least 3 months before delivery....2 days later I was in the drivers seat...GLX-R HEAVEN) and the rhino tub liner. Going this weekend to get some d694's fitted in the 265/75R16 variety (as long as they don't scrub - lift will have to come later).
I'm a complete noob when it comes to 4wding so the information I have found so far has been great and I'm learning a fair bit thanks to you guys.
Anyways, that's pretty much me for now, maybe one day soon I'll have a few pics and stories to add to the site.
I'm not so good with the advice  ... Can I interest you in a sarcastic comment???

Notch another one up for team blue!

Welcome to the crew fridgie!

Hey Dave/Buzzy/Subi...
How hard would it be to have a thread that people can vote what colours their tritons are?
Similar to the voting system in the new logo poll????

Welcome Fridgie, it would almost be a good thing if your tyres scrub mate, wait till you feel the difference in cornering when you change your suspension.

Hey Guys, Thanks for the welcome :)

As for colour....gotta be blue.... Before I picked it up, my brother and brother in law said they didn't like them, didn't like the styling blah blah blah :P Went and picked them up and both were sold on it a commented that the blue definately makes the vehicle ;)

Can't help it guys....it just looks damn sexy
