Hi All,
I not a Triton owner, yet, but are looking at getting myself into one. Currently my ride in a 2007 Deisel Prado 6spd Man with a few goodies.
I'm looking to get out of the lease and of late have taken a serious liking to the Triton.

In fact I would say I have all but made up m y mind, just need to mske thre numbers work.
I have got a few quotes with all the extras to added before delivery, however I am mulling over the suspension set up. The Prado has an OME set up which I'm pretty happy with, however they seem to be a little coservative with the front lift.... one can only assume the they are the same with the Triton. I was also concidering the TJM set up.....

Any advise woiuld be greatly appreciated.

G'day Dazz, welcome to what I hope will be your new home 8-)

Have you looked through some the suspension threads? There are a heap of options available, I personally have Dobinson's and I'm very happy with them. Max lift without any real problems is around 2". is that what you're asking? (I'm not too sure on the question). Any higher, and the front suspension setup starts to become the limiting factor. IMO 2" makes the Triton a pretty capable-looking truck (see exhibit A below ;) ). Hope that helps

Our of interest is the manual Prado 6speed as standard?!

I've had no probs with Ironman 2" lift either.
I hate to advocate drugs, sex, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they’ve always worked for me.

Thanks subi-man..great looking rig.

The Prado is a GX with ARB front bar, OME suspension and safari snorkel. Not quite standard, but not over-done (mainloy due to cash-flow).

I'm very happy with the Prado, there is just something about the Triton....

Thanks for the suspension advise.

My only issue is that the upgrade will form part of my lease and may need to stick with the likes of ARB or TJM, however I'm yet to confirm this.

G'day D4Dazz,

Welcome to the forum. Plenty of good advice and nice people too here. Ive been doing lots of research into a suspension lift and Ive nailed it down to either the dobinsons or Ultimate suspension package for me.

VR is the way to go if you are decking it out with bar work and canopies. I have all the ARB gear and its awesome.

Have fun cause once the modifying starts it never stops..... :D
