I've made a coupla posts in other areas but I saw this intro area and thought I'd pop in here too.
I'm the proud owner of a brand new Black VR Turbo Diesel and I'm lovin' it! I'm also lovin' cruising around this brilliant forum checking out what all of you have done with your rigs.
I've got many big plans for my ute, but will have to be patient and do little things as the funds allow. For now I'm happy with the GLX R hard lid and roll bar that I got thrown in with the purchase, but I think the front end is screaming out for a bar of some description, so that will be first on the wishlist, along with rear bar/towbar and a lift to accommodate the 33" BFG's I've got in the shed from my old bus.
This is my second Triton (I had a 1999 GLS a few years back) and I doubt it'll be my last. They're such a great ute.
Congrats to all the people involved in making this such a great site
I've put my colour vote in so we're another notch up from the blueys Buzzy!
Mr T apparently there's some really good sand dunes through the Canunda National Park area over on the coast. I'm not game to give em a crack with the stock Duelers on though.
I reckon the Triton's got a pretty good follwing down here eh Sheepo? There's no shortage of em around, but most have been blinged up a bit much for my liking, I like the true 4x4 look myself....
Welcome & Ha Ha VR, Oooowwww, oooooowwww, oowww X 40. Seriously I get phantom knee pain looking at that. On a serious note, newtriton.net could be up for copyright infrindgement if the source of that GIF didn't have permission. Same with the other family guy gifs... Same with mine.... Dave?
He who dies with the most toys, wins It's not the size of the dog in the fight that matters...
Welcome to the site mate. It's good to see the SA numbers building up. Regarding colour, I'm still happy in the knowledge mine's faster than yours "'Cos it's a red one".
I'd rather have a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal labotomy!
ok maybe ime wrong but the little bit of reaserch that ive done i think the tyres that you get stock are ok for sand because they dont have big knobs but i could be wrong
a smile is a sign of joy, a hug is a sign of love, a laugh is a sign of happiness and a friend like me...well...that's a sign of good taste.
Hi there, my brother lives in the mount, and last time we were down there we went to Lake Bonney. fantastic 4WDing - had a ball!! only a half hour and a snatch strap from your place!! My brother (Prado Diver) had only been right up the far end, and didn't realise what he had on his doorstep...Beautiful country.
WA's one place I really wanna go one day, ya got a lotta nice stuff over there! Mind you, there's a lotta nice stuff everywhere in this country, just need the time to go lookin for it...
