Postby GLX-R Alex on Mon Jun 08, 2009 4:16 pm

Hi, Just excited to sign up and join in the fun. Work have just told me i can get new vehicle of my own choosing (of which i will own at the end of the lease, all costs paid by them) .. , So i have orded a New MY09 Triton GLX-R in black . a crap load of options and canopy, tool box etc. Im over the moon , and my paperwork /approval should be done this week. Im expecting a delivery of the next 2 weeks or so.

Im glad to have found this site and have already been thinking of upping the boost a little. First mod planned will be a boost gauge i expect . My workmate is solid on getting a toyota SR5 , but i cant stand the looks of them . I think i have made the right desition to go for the GLX-R over the toyota , THOUGHTS?

Hey Alex, welcome to the site.

Regarding upping the boost have a read of THIS thread. It has a lot of info on squeezing out more power.

and also this THREAD discusses the dangers of upping boost without a gauge to monitor it, but it seems like ur onto it anyways.

And lastly, this THREAD has pics of where i installed mine in the cab, and HERE has where to connect it all to under the bonnet.
