Firstly, welcome to the site. You may need to be a bit more specific in your question to get reasonable responses. Having said that, the main warning I would give is to not put unleaded in it. Long story!
I'd rather have a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal labotomy!

It ain't pretty being easy!!

ok,welcome CD
do put your fuel in from the bigger and busier depots where they have fresh fuel preferably from bp cause their cetane rating is 51,caltex is 49 so your truck will run better with higher grade fuel do use CHEMTECH diesel power ok our trucks love this stuff it also stops the dreaded diesel bug (YOU WILL LEARN ABOUT THIS)
keep your eye on oil consumption and the colour of the oil it will get BLACK this is normal, but most of all smile when you drive it because we are fortunate to have such a great piece of engineering :)

Consider blocking your EGR valve...after reading all about it on the threads here of course.
I hate to advocate drugs, sex, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they’ve always worked for me.

Welcome to the site cd0506....consider swapping out your diesel for a grunty, sweet sounding V6   ;)
You can sit there complaining, or you can knit me some seat belts.
