Hi all,
Just found this site and picking up heaps of great news.
I purchased my GLS over the Hilux as I couldn't justify the extra 15000.
I had a Kluger before and enjoyed the mod cons so I had to get something with a few extras.
The GLS comes with leather seats, adjustable driver seat, sun roof etc....
To keep the kids quiet on long trips I added head rest DVDs. This is fantastic!
I removed the Fast-back cover and fitted the ARB smooth finish canopy with tub liner.
Just last week the suspension gear was upgraded with Ironman.
Next items on the list is new tyres, carrier over the canopy and a snorkel. We plan on hitting the Simpson next year so I'm in the process on convincing the misses of all the mods.
As I'm new to 4x4, I am looking forward to getting my Triton dirty and sharing my experiences along the way.
cheers

This car is like a bad drug habit. It is taking all my money and time, my family are concerned, but new mods just feel sooooooo good.

  I know you might need extra carrying space - but the fast fastback separates us from the rest of the Triton crowd

Good point! but i couldn't fit the large eski under the fastback and I had to prove a point with the misses that I could fit all the gear in the back of ute if I had a canopy. Just have to make up more stories to justify new tyres, roof rack for the canopy, extra recovery gear etc......Got to spend the money one way and I would rather it be on the truck.
If they can get there hair done - I can buy a new air compressor
