Not sure if anyone has one, mainly see razorback in this style, which I'm wary of unfortunately.

I'm assuming you know that's our canopy Daz?

Yep, I know, :), I am after feedback from owners and then to save dollars hopefully.

More that happy with the canopy, fitment excellant, doesn't hit the rear of the cab. Rear windows open out slightly for the dogs, nice smooth lines and compliments the styling of the ute......bloody excellant unit if you ask me...... :D :D

Thanx Tassie......BTW long time no hear :?:

That doesn't look too bad - adding the canopy certainly makes the rear end look a bit less imposing :)

Is it just me or does it look like a tonne in the tub will lift the front wheels off the ground and make the arse drag like it's got worms?
I'd rather have a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal labotomy!

It ain't pretty being easy!!

Hi Fellas,

I also moved into the canopy club and bought a Mitsu canopy off eBay then got it sprayed. I think it looks pretty good and the recent camping trips has proven it to be a good investment. Heaps more room, gear is covered and no need for roof racks!! (Hate the wind noise)

I don't use it as a tradies vehicle so no need for heavy load carrying racks on the canopy. Seams fairly robust but I suppose time will tell.

First time posting a pic so here goes..

Likes
- Seems fairly robust
- Good access to back of tub through windows
- Rear window opens providing access to back seats

Dislikes
- To open windows closest to front of car, you need to open the window at the back, reach in and undo the latch for the other window
- Latch for back tub window is only on the inside, if you want to access tub from rear of cabin you can't
- No interior light (hasn't proven to be a problem yet)
- Could be a little higher giving morem room

Other than that, recommend to anyone to get a canopy, worth their waight in gold.

Cheers, Nick

At the rate Mitsi's charge for them, they'd wanna be. I agree they could be bigger as well

Hey Nick the front canopy window latch is interchangable just unscrew it and screw it back on so that the latch is accessible from inside the cab. 8-)

Well after looking at this thread 100 times I finally made a decision and decided to get a canopy.

I lobbed at A place in Seaford that do Ultimate and asked about one for my Red MN. I expected a month wait while it was sourced and painted but to my surprise he had just had a red one delivered 10 minutes earlier!! It was a sign from above so I have it fitted tomorrow morning at 8:00am, just in time for next weeks trip to Kangaroo Island. I will try to post some pics asap.

Due to the limited range of canopy manufacturers catering for the MN, it looks like I will be ordering the ARB one for mine once I get a confirmed delivery date from Mitsi. Not too keen on the high roof of the Flexiglass. TJM are yet to list the MN model for any accessories yet.

Have rang around, but RRP at ARB seems to be pretty solid.

$2264 standard finish inc colour & sliding sides.
$2630 smooth finish inc colour & sliding sides.

$137 ea (apprx) lift up side upgrade option.

All fitted.
If it's burns Gas, I just might be able help you.

This is kind of a duplicate post as I've put these photos in the thread about new ARB gear for the MN as well but this seems a better place for them since it's where all the canopies get compared.

I got a colour matched ARB, lift up windows both sides, clear glass on front panel.

Photos here - iPhone only so not great quality:

It makes the big rear end look even bigger. The photo doesn't do it justice but I reckon I could get my arm in between the cab and the front edge of the canopy, tonnes of room there.

Likes: Lots of dry space now, good colour match, struts on windows are pretty good
Dislikes: Makes the arse look fatter, gap between cab and canopy feels too big (good for off road I guess), inside front window a bugger to open and close, the rubber seal underneath doesn't go all the way around (back corners show daylight), I had to trim my tray liner on the tailgate to close it properly, can't see a way to integrate central locking
The Hitchhiker's guide to the the Triton universe and NTN.

A how to on finding your own way - search me.

The two threads I wish people would use more: thing 1 and thing 2.

Nothing personal cowboy but I think the MN look horrible with that big fat butt and the canopy only makes it look worse
Saw an MN going through town a while back with canopy on and obviously had a fair bit of weight in it and it looked like a dog with a bad case of worms

Thanks for the pics Cowboy Dave.

The ARB unit seems a lot better integrated design compared to the Flexiglass.
