This is interesting were they got your trip report from 26 if you didn't give it to them. Also it was my MN that was damaged at Yalwal. I'm glad I wasn't mentioned in the report.

If you look at the top of the page, it shows web links or what's on the web
I posted on their forum links to my trip report, they have then lifted pics from my blog and pics from my server

There were no pm's or emails to say/ ask if they could, that has happened before and they pay for the report and photos

Yep, unfortunately the lady driver died in this accident. Truck ran up the back of her while she was waiting to turn right (in a right turn lane).

That red unit must be the limited shorty edition.

You can only imagine the force that would have done that. Probably broke her neck on impact - don't think airbags are any use in this situation.

Front airbags only deploy if hit from the front, side airbags only deploy is side impact and the secondary trigger for front bags is rate of deceleration.

The force would have been massive in that hit so agree above.

Cabin is in one piece and hasn't been cut apart by rescue services.
Air bags did not deploy

As it happens I saw one on a tilt-tray in Adelaide last weekend... It had a custom tradie/tool box on the back with a substantial overhang and a hitch tongue which looked to be a good 400-500mm long sticking out of the towbar in order to facilitate trailer hookup... The towball was about 100mm off the tray bed, massive bend...!!!

I havn't seen it, but there are some accidents waiting to happen.
most of the guys putting trays on the back of these things (landcruiser dual cabs) are oversized

alls good until it breaks- Toyota tough

add a couple of spare tyres to the rear, then ballweight (not that the above example would need that)
JMO, time will tell with this

The bulk of the problems are caused by inappropriate use of the vehicle.

i saw a nice one today on the way home, white, so i knew it had to be good  Had a short tray back with a dog cage, all custom and very neat. lifted, exhaust (such a good note) , muddies and usual bar work. Was a very nice set up. that maroon thing is fugly, but they arent all like that. id def own one just for the note haha. i dont think the single turbo has anything special in the power department tho.
