I figured its time for a dedicated Dyno results thread. Lets see if this gets any traction.

Here's a template to list all the relevant info, which might help others decide to take the plunge, and who to go with.

Year and Model: 2013 MN dual cab
Auto/Manual: Manual
Workshop: Horsepower Factory in Dandenong, VIC
Performance mods: 3" exhaust, EGR delete
Wheel size: 265/70/16
Price paid: $1195
Comments: Pretty happy with the overall experience. Drives well, pulls hard. Too early to tell how the economy has changed but seems similar to stock so far. I would recommend HPF.

Interesting, thanks Pete. Yes, good gains from the Paj - owner would be fairly pleased with that I'd expect. That's your mate, isn't it?

133kW vs 96kW from the Chally. Blows you out of the water. :P

I can't understand how that dip half way along on your car's dyno sheet could be the rail limiter. I've had one go and they don't just cough and then go on to more power. If the valve opens up then that's it - you get no more until it closes and then it opens up again the next time at the same rail pressure. It's just a mechanical relief valve.
Chris

If work is so terrific, why do they have to pay us to do it?

yer i know m8 im onto my 3 rail limiter now awaiting tony to send more
all i did was replace the limiter and bam 20kw more
so yer it is letting go but not all time i think it is bleeding of as well
as the dyno sheet he showed me in the 50 something runs there was a fuel jitter and a map sensor jitter he said never ever seen that before and that my car is special and it runs rich stock form
so yer idont know m8
SPECIAL lol

Just brick it. The ECU will monitor the rail pressure anyway. What could possibly go wrong?

Actually it would be worth bricking it just to eliminate it from the results. I'd put money on no significant change from where you are now. We probably shouldn't be taking this thread too far off topic.

Fellas should I get the heavy clutch installed before the remap?

I don't do any heavy towing or radical off-road stuff?

Booked in for Wednesday so can cancel if it's needed.

If your clutch is slipping, the dyno result will be inaccurate.

2013 MN triton

Manual

Ecuwest Port Kennedy

3" redback exhaust with cat
KnN air filter

265/75/16

$1400

Well got it back today. Not real sure if I should be impressed or not from what I gained. Only driven it home from the workshop so far but it does feel a lot smoother and the turbo lag is minimal compared to before the tune. Will take it through its paces over next few weeks see what happens. Will possibly add a kings throttle control later to help with the lag that's left.

I have one his tunes mate, I think the stage 2 on my ML. Its pretty safe and on par with everything else. With the addition of the throttle controller, it will liven it all up that's for sure, especially with those 32's fitted.
He must of put his prices up tho.

Hi guys just got it remapped 2 days ago pretty happy with the results so far.
2012 mn turbo diesel
Manual 265/75/16
3 inch red back exhaust cat but no mufflers
2 inch lift
Upgraded intercooler
Ryco performance air filter
Bullbar, winch, sliders, steel tray, dog box and tool box so she's not exactly light
I'll try and upload a photo but if I'm reading it right 162hp but 700nm torque which was much higher than I though

Only stock engine but still worth getting the extra kW and getting rid of the take-off lag. 141HP @ the wheels isn't too shabby, leave most cars in my smoke.. .
Interesting to compare that the graphs showing rpm instead of actual road speed look different in terms of their curves and also the output seems to be higher with the ones with rpm on the bottom instead of speed. Manual vs auto perhaps?
