Unless you can find them second-hand, Partsouq or Amayama are the best places to buy.

Do you know if the h/l and 4wd/2wd switches are interchangable? The pajero ones are basically interchangable with just different colour plugs and tail lengths.

Iam thinking the ml easy select ones may actually be these numbers, MB886426 MB886427.
They look the same, are the connectors uniquly keyed so you cannot plug wrong ones into the loom?

If they are these ones they are round 15 bucks on aliexpress.

edit:, well pulled the trigger on an ali one, will see when if it comes if its compatible.

ML4ME sort of looks similar but theyre different parts

if you google MB886426 & MB886427 thats what they look like

i ordered mine from a mitsubishi dealer they were about 90 each, the part numbers that they used are:
MI-8604A003 switch t/f gearshift 4wd lamp
MI-8604A004 switch t/f h-l gearshift lamp

ML4ME, maybe before you go out and buy parts you should go through the checks in the Manual to determine exactly which part(s) are failing, if any.

Link is in the Forum Directory and various continuity checks are detailed in the transmission sections.

thanks Guys for your help, I have just about replaced most solenoid valve and the front diff actuator...I was told by a wrecker getting parts for another car he had the same problem and told me it was the gearbox switches on his, but advised me auto electrician might be a good step. The only other possible problem could be the vac lines and tank ...i will look through the transmission section as you advised...thanks so much guys for your input
