Intercooler hose supplier

Postby Stuart77 on Sun Jan 20, 2019 7:44 am

Morning guys,
I blew out my intercooler hose on my way to work this morning, luckily it was just a one-inch split and I had a roll of gaffer on me so i could get to work (which probably isn't lucky now i think of it haha).
I'm having heaps of trouble finding a replacement hose though, anyone know of a parts supplier near Lilydale/Chrinside Park/Ringwood Vic area?

Cheers!

Highly recommend the fore front industries stainless replacement kit. Replacement rubber piping is rediculously expensive and more prone to failure.

Have either of you guys had any issue with plastic housing cracks etc? I've read that the stainless tubing can be too rigid.

No issues at all. There are small sections of rubber hose at each termination of the piping which should cater for any slight expansion/contraction or movement, etc.

Zero issues, very nice bit of kit. Comes with welded bungs for boost/inlet air temp gauges if you wish to install. 1/4 inch npt i believe. In fact, i ended up installing evo 9 intercooler which is much larger than stock and with a bit of cutting/fab work, i managed to reuse this kit
