Manifold replacement

Postby Seana on Wed Jan 30, 2019 4:19 pm

So I'm going to keep the MN going for another couple of years and have decided to finally address the manifold issue. I put a catch can on last weekend and purchased a replacement manifold (was just over $300 and is a redesign apparently). Could have cleaned the old one, but with 200k on it I figured I'd go all out.

Has anybody seen a walk through on replacing? Looks reasonably straight forward, but sure would love to see a video or some pics, especially which gaskets I should be replacing, order and torque of the bolts etc.

Any help welcome!

Cheers

A little off topic Seana but l would hold onto the old manifold and still clean it up, you will probably get some coin back on the new purchase, quite a few on here are chasing clean replacements.
Better to be silent and thought a fool than open your mouth and remove all doubt.[
