Water pump noise, Help!!!

New low k's second hand engine mechanic fitted with new water pump is making noise and wont prime up. How do i get rid of a air lock in a MN Triton 2.5 4d56.

It seems like it cant self prime any ideas i have done the radiator cap off and squeeze the hoses trick and no luck.
Mechanic cant fit me in for another week

Note: they used a long block from a 2008 2.5 and put all my 2013 GLXR manifolds and turbo on it.
