Gearbox Failure 5 speed manual blown 3rd.

Postby CJM77 on Tue Apr 05, 2022 1:15 pm

Hi All, Im new on here. I've blown up 3rd gear. I've had a look through the other threads but can not find what I'm looking for, I have question about the differences between the MN triton 5 speed manuals. as far as I'm aware there is two types. a single switch and a two switch. I have the 2 switch version which are harder to come buy and more expensive, I'm led to believe that I can use the single switch version but I need to bypass the speed switch, has anyone done this, and is it possible, any advise would be great.
Thanks Chris.

Yeah apparently you can...

I would've gone that way if I couldn't find a 2 switch box, but as it turned out there were plenty to choose from when my g-box went on me last year.
