Tillix valve connection

In the image below it has a hose that is connected at one end to the Tillix valve & the other end of the hose is running to the Map sensor.
So, can the hose end that is running to the Map Sensor be connected straight to the intercooler pipe in front of the throttle body (cool Side) instead?
Mitsubishi Dealer told me that the Map Sensor needs a dedicated port to work correctly & nothing else should be connected to it.

Yeah you could re-plumb it there, but completely unnecessary. Teeing it into the map sensor line won't effect the readings to the map sensor at all, you're dealer is cluless for telling you that.

What ever you decide, don't forget to tee in a boost gauge while you're at it.

OK, thanks, yeah I don't put much faith in dealer service advice these days.
Also, there is a long metal tube that runs from the vacuum pump then around the back of the motor & around the egr valve and finally back to the brake booster. It has a connection with a rubber cap on it. I don't need another vacuum source but could that be used for vacuum if needed.
