The newtriton snorkel hole-saw rental thread.

Postby Kegsy on Mon Nov 15, 2010 7:31 pm

G'Day.

Thought I'd start a thread for anyone looking to install the safari snorkel or the ironman snorkel into their pride and joy.

Thanks to "Bill65" there is a set of hole saws available for drilling the large snorkel holes into the outer fender and inner front clip sheet metal.

The Deal.

The set of 2 hole-saws to complete the job (no arbor included, supply your own) is free to those who want to use them! :o

The current holder of the hole-saw set (atm myself) is to pass on the hole saws FREE OF CHARGE (incl postage) to the next person after they have finished.

To become next in-line, simply reply to this thread asking for the hole-saws and PM the current holder your details. The current holder will post the item to you and pay for postage, and so the loop begins.

The "current holder" is to reply to this thread updating everyone on who is the current holder or if no one is waiting they are to advertise their availability.

A cheaper way for everyone to install their snorkels and help out fellow members. Thanks must be given to "Bill65" for starting this deal, Cheers mate.

So who is next?

PS. Apologies if this is in an inappropriate section. I didn't want to put it in the for sale section of the forums.

Just PM me your address mate, and they will be on the way. I've still got them sitting here in my shed. You'll just need to get an arbor if you don't own one from a friend or bunnings etc.

Top stuff guys. I was thinking of doing a self install, but once I added in the cost of the hole saws, and other bits n pieces, and the 4 hrs effort to self install (plus the worry if i screw it up) was steering me towards paying ARB to do it for me. This offer makes a self install seem a little more attractive now.

They are the correct size for Safari and Ironman kits.

I forget the sizes, didn't take too much notice. I THINK its 95 and 102? or 98 and 102... Something like that, either way perfect fit.

Your instructions have the sizes in the details.
