I just fitted an Ironman snorkel to my GLR and if any other members are waiting on the free hole saws,I purchased a Craftsman Downlight hole saw kit from bunnings for $13 with a number of hole saws in it especially the neccessary ones 95 &102 mm.It did the job perfectly ,they maybe a little blunter now but for that price it doesn't matter. As well I bought a set of three Craftsman step drills for $10 wich did the job of drilling the mounting holes in the guard easily.I thought this might help if you can't wait for the hole saw to be mailed out.

Seriously?!? I would have thought they were for gyprock and timber only, not metal panels.
My son's had a snorkel kit to go on his landcruiser sitting on his floor for 6 months now as he hasn't got a hole saw.

They probably are only for gyprock and timber, but if they hold their edge for a single hole and you bin them after that who cares at $13. Will head to Bunnings for a look myself I think.

I'm sure I read in another thread about someone who ran into grief with the same sort of holesaws.

Actually, I just searched on gyprock and found it again in this post:

Yeah those hole saws from Bunnings aren't worth the time! If I had my time again and wasn't so impatient I would have hit up the last person to have the rental hole saw that's on here.
The hole saw I got from Bunnings went blunt in less than a minute... Just enough to to scratch the paint!

Has anyone PM'd Dunney to see if he still has the original set? Looks like he was the last to get them from the posts above.

Hi all. I have a holesaw kit at home but it only has a 92mm saw, not 95mm. Does anyone know if this would still work?

Still looking for a hole-saw set I might be able to borrow.
Willing to pay for postage to and fro.
Need a 90mm and 102mm (roughly) at least.

South west WA here, could've turned up with the father in laws hole saws if you were local. I'm sure you'll get hold of some somehow

Cheers anyway mate.

If anyone is willing to post to Vic (I'll cover costs), let me know. Save me from spending $70 on a new set I'll never use again.
