Black or Gunmetal Grey?

Postby twinturbo007 on Sat Mar 29, 2008 11:06 am

I am going to drive you all mad with stupid questions but here goes,

I have narrowed my two colours of personal selection down to Black or Gun Metal Grey, but I am having trouble choosing.

So, to owners of these two colours, how have you found them? Im leaning towards Gun Metal Grey but the Black with some big aftermarket wheels has some appeal....

Too many choices, if the dealer said, too bad, your going to have to take the ............ one, I would probabaly be fine but maybe you can add comment on any personal experiences.

Thanks again,

regards

Dark colours look good until you get damage like dents & scatches and they show all the dirt and mine is red never again

I have the gun metal mate, and if I had my time again I'd go white without fail!! The gun metal is a great look, much like black, but its a bitch to keep clean and if you go bush be prepared for the scratches, like the one I have at the moment, goes from the rear drivers side door to the end of the tray....

Another thing to remember is that Mitsu paint is very average, it's very thin and would more than likely scratch at the site of someone brushing clothing up against it.

At the end of the day your the one thats throwing your hard earned over the counter for it, so if I were you I'd go with my gut feeling..

Even though you have given us two options, I'd go neither, and take white, followed by gun metal then black.

Good Luck.

I second that!

Why do poeple post threads asking what colour to get :-)
because it nearly always ends up like this. us saying get a certain colour because we own one

at the end of the day its a decision for yourself

what next? are we gonna have a thread
"what colour undies should i wear today"
I'm not dead

Yep, looks the goods rick,

One question, what were you thinking when you got that poor excuse for a bull bar?? Seriously I reckon if that bar ran up the arse of my Mighty Boy I'd come out better off, I'd hate to see what a roo would do to it...

OK, just reading back on that, it's not worded very well, and sounds like I'm sticking it up ya. I'm not at all mate, just would like to know what pre requisites you set out prior to purchasing a bar...

Cheers, Shane.
