Get one with a rear difflock and decent tyres and it will be unstoppable in all but the hard-core stuff (if you want to go hard-core then some suspension mods would be in order)

That's my 0.02c worth

Cheers!

Mike - check my profile, as mine gets used fairly seriously off-road........and it goes extremely well!!! Theres no other dual cab ute I'd sooner have, to do what mine does......;) ;) 8-) 8-)

Previous vehicles - 04 Triton - 30 odd Hiluxs, (in various configurations) - 5 x 80 series Landcruisers - coupla Pajeros, various other Landcruisers.

Tip # 1 - Avoid stress & grief & low resale values with vehicles - do it once - do it right, buy a HILUX!!

I'll be giving mine a workout soon as I've just completed its transformation. Its all done now: tyres, suspension, diff lock, winch, snorkel etc... Before I go the Triton I had a Jeep Wrangler with some serious mods. The Jeep was really unstoppable, but not very practical. I'm wondering how the Triton will measure up, but then I'm a bit scared to give it the same treatment just in case its not that sort of rig. :-)

Thanks mate! It only has 600ks on the clock. I'm still very protective of her, but that may change.
