This car is like a bad drug habit. It is taking all my money and time, my family are concerned, but new mods just feel sooooooo good.

Just installed two rated tow hooks to the XROX bar... Not sure about them... The stick out the front of the bar to much... Resembles a bull now!

Not specifically what i did to the Triton......but more what i did "for it"

Tonight is the first ever night in the Triton's 2 year and 3 month life she has been able to park in my garage :D Thanks to the tree falling on the garage during winter, i was able to rebuild and "modify" so that she fits in 8-)

Been in and out of service..... We set up camp on the peak of a mountain last night.... So we got pretty good coverage!
River crossings...we have done quite a few and they all will be fine.... Rocky underneath and most are not to deep... None over the bonnet.... So far.
There is one that we will be doing on the trip that we wont have done as we decided on a different route... So that one will be pot luck.

Today I decided to treat "missy" to a bit of breathing attention.

Old UniFilter out freshly cleaned and treated UniFilter

Cleaned the maf sensor. Had a wheel align & balance, even a wash. Then it was down to the beach for a swim, blowing a gale do we went to the harbour, now covered in salt mist. Will give her a hose tomoz before the trip south west.

Got a new sign for work on the back.

Got a wheel alignment. Glad I did because they found a screw in one of the ATs - caught it before it got all the way through to produce a leak. Lucky...

I taped a garbage bag over the broken rear window of the canopy so I could take my son swimming without getting everything in the back wet.

This weekend;

Unloaded from the HC reccy
Cleaned out the tray
Re-fitted canopy that had moved out of alignment
Cleaned fridge
Cleaned and re-oiled the Uni-filter.
Fitted a new snorkel sock pre-filter.
Cleaned the MAF sensor.
Removed both front flares and about a kilo of mud from each one  (noticed that a bunch of small stones had pushed down under the rubber flare seal between panel and flare so had to take them off).
Re-loaded for the HC trip...

Swapped out UniFilter element for a clean one. Will clean spare one later when I clean the snorkel head-piece. Dropped tune on Chip It to tow a mates car (safeguard the engine), only to jump back up as he hadn't gotten hold of the car-trailer we needed.
