Gave the inside a good clean out. Didn't go anywhere as I was preparing for a weeks stay on Palm Is.

Should be an interesting week...

I gave her a good wash, cleaned out the engine bay, flushed out the intercooler and radiator.

Also swapped out the uni filter element for a clean one and cleaned the maf sensor. Was suprised how many bugs are in there with the snorkel so i may have to invest in a precleaner.

I had a good day wheeling and no new damage.

Watched some others do a bit of damage (see above)

But she will have to stay dirty as I'm too tired to clean
I'm not so good with the advice  ... Can I interest you in a sarcastic comment???

Had a mate drive it home coz I'm stuck in hospital.
I think he got there! I did get a message from him at one stage he was enjoying the drive. That was an hour after he left for a 10 minute trip!!!!

Had some spacers fitted to my Tris front suspension by John at Protek today.

Really nice to meet a bloke who is friendly and interested. Job was A1.

Matilda now has her front end height back and handles better than ever. All ready to watch everyone trash their Tritons in the HC this weekend...

Changed out the simex to the everyday tyres
opened up the rear drums after the mud incident.
one side was good- and still a fair bit of beef left in the pads.

the one that was in the hole was "still filled with wet mud" cleaned it up and dried it out best I could.

BUT wheel is left off and drum airing- hope it dosn't rain in the morning as I'm on the pushy- storms likely first hint of rain in 4 weeks

welded a coulple more tie down points on the tray. actually reminds me i need to paint the welded areas (couldnt do it before as i had to drive in the rain just after welding and had no chance to paint.)

bought a new toolbox for the tray from ebay. :) bloody bargain.

also bought some mudguards that i need to modify and then weld onto the tray so i stop flinging mud and shit everywhere up the bodywork.
