Gave the truck a thorough going over and clean. With a few beach trips coming up gave the underneath a lanolin spray to help fight off corrosion.

While detailing the inside I discovered there's a 12v socket in the center console. Score... lol

Had a good look over mine to decide what kind of tie down points I wanted to put in, figuring out exactly how I want to mount the hard top racks...

Pressure hosed the driveway so not to get dirt in the HT's ;)

Wondered which mod I can actually afford next. Installed the fire extinguisher

About to clean the inside, have rotated the tyres, replaced the rear brake shoes, secured my multiple 12v adapter near the gearstick and general check over. Still to repair winch cable, check air filter, clean radiator again and maybe have another go at some panel beating ( got some more tub damage last trip  )
I'm not so good with the advice  ... Can I interest you in a sarcastic comment???

Pulled centre console and centre trim out. Installed an icom 400 pro into the old radio slot. Turned out to be pretty easy, just used four screws that were there and jerry rigged a couple of brackets.

Then pulled the rear door trims off, installed some new speakers, along with a heap of dynamat over the inner door shell and around the speaker mounts.

Pulled off the front door trims and replaced the new dodgy trim clips I got from o/seas with the old originals (did the speakers and dynamat in the front doors a couple of weeks ago). Back to being tight again :D

Then cut the bottom off the front inner guard lining, where it hangs down below the bull bar, zip tied them into place a bit better.

Gave Matilda a quick dust off with quick detail and a cloth.

Tomorrow I'm off the BCF to get some water and fuel containers, some new chairs and a few other bits and bobs in preparation for the VIC HC trip. 8-)

Just washed Bella.... After last weekend in the high country it was an effort...... Started packing to see what I can get in the tub for the hc trip in three weeks(yes I'm keen).
Tightened tow bar.... As it doesn't look like my ARB rear bar wont be here in a hurry..... If only they would return my calls. that's about it
Like Steane I think I'm making a trip to Bcf tomorrow for a small Gerry can for the chain saw!!!

Finished the snorkel install. Test running as noticed some either vibration or incorrect fuel mix. Seems to flatten out at 2500rpm and has a light vibration making me think bearing cage has gone somewhere.

Replaced the trailer wiring and plug as the last bottom out severed the brake wire oops

I trimmed and removed the tub liner on the tail gate. Had to trim around the bolt locks. Stabbed myself in the lhs peck. Only a little. Did hurt, no bandaids would have to shave my chest to do that.

Did the tyre shine, removed the flashing light. Ready for a road trip tomorrow.

Blinged her up! Managed to bring home some fancy bits from a recent holiday to Thailand. Have the chrome handle surrounds and the rear spot lights left to mount.... Door trims need to be taken off to undo the handles slighty so I will be fitting my old stereo speakers me thinks!! Only problem being the other half wants the yard lookin good again.... Hmmm needs to be more hours to these weekends!!!

Absolutely nothing!!
But what I needed to do was -
Give the underbody a clean
Turn the clutch on the winch so it's on top
Remove those scotch locks an get the indicator lights working on the bullbar
Securely Fit the towbar wiring loom
Rotate the fog lights
Fix the lights in the tub
General wiring tidy up
Give her a nice cut and polish!!!!!
Edit-forgot to add I need to clean the engine bay nice and proper! Still working on a solution to a product for this other than degreaser, steane recommends tyre foam on everything and I can't seem to see a fault in that!

- guess I'm going to be VERY busy tomorrow! Better not drink too much tonight......

I had a play with my new Ultra-guage this afternoon. Excellent bit of kit for the price.
