Hi,

I am new to this forum. I didn't know it existed until a few days ago and I find the reading on here awesome! Just letting everyone know that I am currently waiting for the new MN Triton that I have on order which should be here in a few weeks! Once I have it I will report on what I think of the changes.

I currently drive a 2008 model year ML Triton GLX-R diesel manual and I have gone that same model again in the MN series.

Just my two cents worth on all the talk on here about the mechanical changes in MN, I don't think Mitsubishi would put a new model on the market that is worse off than the current model. They have been growing in the ute market since launching ML so I can't see that they would do anything to threaten that growth. Leap of faith?????? yeah maybe... I'll know in a few weeks I guess................ 8-)

Welcome mate and look forward to your 'review'.

Where are you from?

Wouldn't mind hearing from the member on here that works for Ralliart.

Does Ralliart really exist?

Can't find F**all when trying to contact them in Bris. Just get diverted to normal stealers.

Thanks mate, but all phones lead to Rome whenever I ring.
Motorama in Bris is apparently the mob...and that's who I have been using for servicing/warranty repairs.

Seems to be mostly oiler mods anyway so I never chased it much.

With the mods and fixes available on the diesels, I keep kicking myself I didn't get one. My bank account is probably lucky I didn't I suppose.

I noticed the Lilydale (VIC) Mitsubishi has RalliArt brandings all over the dealership. Anyone been in there? I think it is my closest one.

The GLX-R does. I went to the dealership the other day and though they didn't have a MN in stock (coming in late Sep/early Oct) I did manage to get a photocopy of the brochure if anyone wants any info (not sure if the bulletin had more info, as the links taken down).

Hi guys - we have been asked not to post up links to the MN Information Bulletin so I have edited any posts that have a link in them.

Cheers

well there you go learn something every day! pm if you want the link to the 'secret file'

maybe they are sending out batch of 2.5's to test the water and are going to change back to 3.2 ... so dont want too much publicity about the 'triton that never was' floating about in internet land :o

or maybe, and perhaps more plausibly, when the NM Information Bulletin is read when reflected in a mirror with 3D glasses on it shows a image of who shot JFK... perhaps there are other untold mysteries it can unravel (ive only got through page 1)

Mitsubishi have asked - however, rather then makes their presence known to admin/mods, they have communicated their requests via another member with close ties to them

So, while I would have appreciated a little more direct dialogue with them, I have tried to comply with their request and not post up links to the Product Bulletin. However if a dealer has given copies of the Bulletin to people, then really we have no control over that - strangely it seems "they" are more worried about it being posted here, rather than their dealers giving it out :?

Hope that clears the mud somewhat :?
