Generally looks pretty good.

However, that tub looks rediculously long; add the length of the tow hitch and your front wheels will be ready for take off when you're towing a decent load. Looks like over two thirds of load area is behind the axle.

Parking should be interesting.

There probably should be two wheel bases, the above tub length probably needing an extra 250 - 350mm.

kinda looks like a D-MAX to me ??

what's with the tub being so damn long, have they taken some of the fronts overhang and added it to the rear. The current ones hit there arses easily so I'd hate to see that thing off road

It's the same wheel base, same length tub and the cab is 130 mm or so bigger than currant mode ( from memory) it's gotta go somewhere. But as said above, put some bar work front and rear and it would be near 6 m long.
Dosnt bother me tho, I would be putting a tray on it anyway.
All the info seems to be out now apart from price. This will be the biggest key factor. If it is with in 5 k of the rangers /bt50 then I think it won't sell much. I think it would need to be 7 to 10 k cheaper to get people thinking.
It does look a lot like the demax to me

I think the angle the pictures have been taken on dont really help with the sixe of the tub aswell. Pretty much we will have to face that this is the way 4x4 dual cabs are going, the actual 4x4 capabillites are slowly being deminished, it will come to the point where if you want a new 4x4 then landrover defender or landcruisers are the only way to go lol

It's this whole "J design" thing that Mitsubishi have. Move the rear wheels forward to minimise wheelbase and turning circle so they can claim manoeuvrability. Personally, I'd rather have the rear axle 200mm further back so it loads better but I'll have to get a job in their design team first.

If work is so terrific, why do they have to pay us to do it?

Hopefully they have put some more engineering into the chassis to make sure it can handle the weight, I dont think people will be putting dual wheel carriers on the end of this tub lol. They did state that they have made the triton more car like though? But I can see sales go flying with this triton because of the size of the tub tradies and farmers will love it :)

thinking a little, i am a little disapointed now in the conservative shape , why didnt the design team have a breakthrough like they did with the ML its the biggest seller because it was different at the time. (god love my ML)

Probably enough length there to squeeze in a third axle.

Do a super lift and you could have a 'poverty pack' Merc 6wheel G-wagen.

Dude, too much info..... Not sure we need to know how many 'axles' you can squeeze in ;)
I'm not so good with the advice  ... Can I interest you in a sarcastic comment???

So much time saving potential, want to change the front tyres? Just shift your load to the back of the tub. Sunk in sand or mud?/ No need for hi-lift jacks or digging, get your family/mates to stand on the rear tailgate and lift the front to put your max tracks etc underneath....

Any chance of posting some mechanical specs? Mainly axle and gear ratios? Auto and manual? Struggling to find anything, even on overseas models
