Well well well,

I went into a Mitsu dealer today to take a look at a used Evo 8 and stumbled across a new MY09 Olympic Edition Triton, I have a feeling they are based on the GLS as they have the door strakes the GLS has and I've also been told that they have leather, so my guess would be GLS..

Some goodies that I noticed externally on this one was bling grille and tidy looking plastic nudge bar thingo, I reckon it looks the goods if you don't mind bling..

Oh yeah the rims on it are the new standard wheels, and yes they are 17 inch, there was also a new VR on the lot that had the same wheels on it..

Here's the pics..

Cheers, Shane.

Yeah, If I didn't have the ARB Bar I reckon I'd have that front, but then I'd have nowhere for my lightforce 240's..

I wouldn't mind a set of them 17 inch wheels tho, I reckon they'd look nice on a Gunmetal Tri..

Stuffed up original tutorial, has now been edited, notice the last code "> has a space between the g and the ] when you post your pics up, do not put that space in or it won't work, I've only had to do it for this example to stop that shitty red box coming up..

Cheers, Shane.

Looks like you guys are getting a bit more on your 'Olympic' edition than what we are...........!! But, ours are black, or black, or black in colour. Also get Outlanders & Pajero's as well..........

This Triton of yours here, should also have cruise as std, if its on 17" wheels.........;) ;) (Ours still miss out on both for a few more months yet........)
Tip # 1 - Avoid stress & grief & low resale values with vehicles - do it once - do it right, buy a HILUX!!

I couldn't get into the holding yard where this one was, and I forgot to check for the cruise on the MY09 VR they had out in the open..

The 17's look nice in the flesh..

We also have the Olympic Edition Outander and Paj's, I think also Lancer aswell...

You pay a fair bit more for 17inch tryes.

There is a $70 premium per tyre for 32's Cooper STTs in 17inch versus the more popular 16inch size.

Dead right FSC - and trying to find mud pattern 17" tyres is a hassle........

Stick with the 16" rims I reckon.

Try the third and fourth photos in this thread. That gives an idea
I'd rather have a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal labotomy!

It ain't pretty being easy!!
