Seems you got the better bloke writing the story ;) Very nice mate

I was looking at the credits on mine and Dan didn't get the guernsey for the pics...Have his name as the photographer for you and Australian Images for mine :?: :?

And, must add...I'm a little annoyed that the thanks I gave never got printed, good to see yours did ;)
I'm not so good with the advice  ... Can I interest you in a sarcastic comment???

They must be better at delivering the truth at Overlander compared to 4wd Action.

4wd Action has done an article on Private 4wd parks. There is a piccy of Jamo's ute on the Bylong Creek write up. If you look really closely in the trees behind him you can make out my awning (sort of) as i was following him down the track.

There is also some tosser bragging about how he made it through a track in his Holden sumthin or other, where a whole bunch of Tritons couldn't :o

Na, It looked like a Suzuki Jimni/Sierra with a Holden Badge in the picture, never heard of the model before.

A rebadged Suzuki Sierra I think. He must have been made to feel inadequate by Tritons at some time to make that comment.

In some conditions a Sierra will out do a Triton by virtue of its light weight etc. Nothing to brag about, they can't carry much and will destroy your back on a long drive.

I see the next issue of Offroad Utes (formerly custom utes) has an ML build guide...

Could be interesting ;)

Aren't they the same kettle of fish? EMG (Express Media group) might own both of them

They do now. Overlander was bought out by EMG last year. I think there is only one independent mag left now.

I think that was the quote from the driver of the drover.......I dont think that was from the Bylong meet?? Must of been another group perhaps :?:
In any case, I really cant see what that stock drover could do that a Triton couldnt. I think a Kluger AWD would make it further

Maybe he wants to get in contact with us and we will put him to the test

My new manager said if you don't pay I don't sign. Lol

The nice people at 4wdA sent me the original. It's a very nice photo. I might get it framed and hang it in my shed
