Hey glx-rsilver, what do you think of the HID's? I got a pair in mine also. Brighten up the road a lot:). I got the 6000k colour. If you go to a dark road where there are trees to the sides. Have a look at low beam, there’s a spread up in the tree tops also some stray beams off to the sides in an orange colour.

Just ordered some 6000k H3 55w HID's for my IPF 900 spotties. I will try get some pictures oh before and after shots.

Hey riggs i haven't really tested much yet i will on the way to work tomorrow. I did go for a spin between and they seemed good. I think i have also 6000k. It'll be interesting to see how the hid go in your spotties.
My light system is only 35w

sorry if this is a dumb comment but i havent looked at these- is it the one globe (hi beam only) or does the one globe do the lot?

Hey there cyberhonky yes it's 1 globe that does both high and low beam. You have to make sure you buy the hi lo kit not just hight beam.

Guys on the X-trail forum are getting these kits also... few of them had problems with water ingress causing the lights to all fail. So word of caution.. make sure all your plugs and openings are water tight.. even if it means wrapping all the connections with electrical tape.

ive had the 6000K hid lights in my triton for about 6 months now, i find the low beam is nice and bright, but it seems kinda scattered and not so good on hi beam.

Are yours the ones where the shield moves when you switch to high beam, glx-rsilver?

I've been thinking about these and it seems there are a few different kinds - the mechanical shield type, another with a halogen high beam globe, a low beam only and another one that looks like two HID globes. Anyone had experience with the different kinds?
