Show us your Switches

God knows what for its in the wiring diagram for the switch from air on board, hence why I asked. Wired them up no problems and they work but I can't find any info on this diode and it's a bit strange for them to include it in the diagram. eBay search turned up a few results all from the US.

Can someone with a late model MN post up some pictures of where this type of recess is usually installed? I know roughly where but have to line these up and need inspiration

Is this what you're after? Didn't the 09 MN's have them?

I wouldn't mind putting another one next to my original.. Plenty of room in behind there for another.

Is better than just having a switches there that get bumped by your knee.

Yeah that sort of thing but a better angle for me to line it up. Is for Tony's levelling switch. I ordered 3 but only ever got 2 for some reason. Definitely a handy option for extra switches especially if factory shaped

Has anyone had a crack at fitting a switchblank in the ashtray? I've tried it myself but need to angle it up 15 degrees or so, there isnt alot of room down there! Would have changed the Single DIN slot over but thats where the ICOM sits. Piccies to come when i get the car back from the stealers.

Fitted some Narva lights, which came with an excellent plug 'n' play harness but didn't like the "surface mount" switch that came with them. Got the switch from Air On Board that has been mentioned previously and connected it to the Narva harness. Fits and works perfectly. Ignored the blocking diode that is shown in the AOB wiring diagram.

yer they fit great but the lights in the switch arnt that great
as in the driving light is spose to be iluminated with the turning on of the headlights
then you turn on high beam and the switch in the pushed in position should light up the lights simbals but as you can see there is a light from the get go
bit annoying but oh well
i pulled mine out and put a bit of plastic inbetween the lights so it works as spose to lol
maybe im just anal lol

Hey coughy, mine works like you described it should. The "Driving Light" part lights up when I turn on the headlights, and the light symbols only light up when on high beam and the switch is pushed in. The photo was taken when on high beam with the spotties turned on.

Anyone found having switches under the mirror/traction control area get bumped accidentally?

Just trying to decide where to put 3x switches

Ive got a set of 3 Narva rocker switches in the same spot and to be honest I have bumped them a couple of times when I first put them in. But now that I know they are there, haven't had a problem.

If I was to do it again, I might go with the recessed ones but its not like I regret having the rockers.

Just my 10c worth, will add a photo so you can get an idea.

Does anybody know whether the Air on Board switches will fit the blank switch panels that are next to the cig lighter in a '13 MN? Trying to work out which switch to buy so that I don't have to modify the cut out.

I fitted an air on board switch to one of those blanks, the switch doesn't fit directly into the blank cut out. When you remove the blank the hole is too big, so I cut out a hole into the blank plug, fits snug.

Hi all!
Like a lot of people, l too found it hard to find a switch to fit that above blank panel in the centre console. I wanted to have a tidy set up for my fog light switch, so I set out to find something to fit in that panel. So after a little bit of research, l visited my local wrecker and found a switch in a mid 90s pajero that looked very close to my panel. The switch l had was for the power antenna (rocker switch setup). I gutted out the dead switch and used 406 to glue in the switch to the surround. The panel was a perfect fit! Victory for #teamtriton

I hope this helps anyone else with a similar situation.
