That is not on option on the model I have, basically if you don't turn the lights off when you kill the engine an alarm beep's is all we get.

On my 2008 GLXr the lights do turn off automaticly.

I don't have an answer to the original question though. Whats the warranty system like overseas. Here you could complain and get it fixed by the dealer.

You sure Arrows, mine does. You get an alarm beep if you leave park lights on, and they'll stay on. With main headlights though, you get a very short beep and you can hear the relay turn the lights off.

Mine has a prolonged beep when the engine is turned off until the driver's door opens. They then turn off.

After the turbotimer has stopped the engine, my headlights will stay on for about 2 mins and then shut off automatically (unless the driver's door is opened)

Ah, that's good to know they turn off eventually anyway. The designers didn't cover that scenario, you're still sitting in the car after the engine turns off, and never get out! It's a good think it doesn't have a 000 function and alert the authorities your stuck in your car!
