LAUNCH CRP123 SCAN TOOL QUIRKS

Hi, The launch CRP123 Scan Tool, whilst being an effective unit has an oddity which may trick you into believing it won't clear faults. So much so that I almost purchased a high end unit to clear an airbag light.

The 123 would read SRS codes but would not clear the warning light or stored codes. In desperation I went back into the menu options and under country's, choose JAPAN in lieu of AUSTRALIA. Then choose 2010 Triton, it then cleared the codes and extinguished the light. Hope this helps other members with the same tool that has been mentioned a bit in the Airbags thread. It also helps to keep the unit updated online with the Launch website. Cheers David.
