Airbag Connector Positions

Airbag Connector Positions

Postby ag9111 on Tue Nov 12, 2019 6:12 pm

I have an airbag light come up on my MN with curtain Airbags.
Error code is for the right hand curtain airbag squib.
I know there are 4 connectors between the ECU and the airbag but I can only find a diagram for the ML positions.
Anybody have a position diagram for the connectors on an MN please.

Its been a while since i have replaced the harnesses, but i think the left hand connector is for seats and the next one is for curtains. For reference ,the curtain harness has another small connector near to ECU plug.

Unplugging and plugging back in can be a temporary fix. More likely it needs new harnesses.

Always worth approaching MMAL for goodwill claim on these. You would be surprised what they cover

hi there
there is two harnesses to replace my mn triton had the same problem drivers side pillar bag, to replace them it is a 6 to 7 hour job because when this light is on all of your air bags will not deploy as told by the dealer .
I approached mits by email and inform them that this problem makes my vehicle un road worthy to drive because of the air bags , this is becoming a problem with some mn triton and mits knows about it and says nothing and hope this problem happens out side of warranty and they can reject any claim.
parts and labour is about 1500.00 plus I was told .
