Fitted up and works a treat.
Definitely needed it - just couldn't get enough volume out of new iphone even if I turned the phone volume up flat out.

Just a thought, but has anyone tried buying a cheap normal ipod cable and cutting off the end and attaching the wires to the radio?

That is an option but there is a spare part you can get to do the same, Auxilary cable, and it comes with metal crimped ends already that you just plug into the rear wiring harness

Sure, but i would rather pay $10-20 for a cheap cable and do it myself than $130.

turto - i think you are confusing two cables? this thread is about the bluetooth volume control unit for phones where the volume is poor. yes the price for that one is around $130.

smeg is talking about the auxilliary input cable for an ipod it goes into the back of the stereo - this one costs about $30-40

hope that helps!

I just got an iPhone through work and the volume is like a breath of fresh air - works like a beauty.
It takes a little longer to pair up after ignition but it actually works like a proper hands free now.

Yes quite

Work issue and I have to get my kids to help me use it.
I put 250 songs on it and tested to make sure all was fine...no probs.
Went for a 7 hour drive the next day with a couple of mates and hooked up the phone to the MP3 jack I installed with a bit of superior head wobbling......they're gooooonnneee!!!

I must admit it's growing on me though :ugeek:
