Bluetooth volume - any good results?

Postby Urshtnme on Mon Jan 28, 2008 11:38 pm

Hey guys, I've updated my phone to a Nokia 6120 due to the positive response on how it works in the bush but it seems the volume is way doen.

I know there was some posts about it here a while ago, did anyone find out how to resolve the issue?

oh that sux mate.

Well it might all be sorted out when I upgrade the stereo unit later this year. Going to get one of those 7inch screens with the DVD, MP3, Bluetooth, GPS.

Fingers crossed the new bluetooth unit will work properly.

Finding the same with the 6120 :(

I upgraded the phone firmware yesterday to 4.21, but it didn't make a scrap of difference

This is the only phone with Bluetooth issues that I'm aware of - all the others seem to work fine :x

LG500 volume on Bluetooth makes no adjustment and is full loud. Samsung A411/2 volume adjustment works fine.

likewise here (although I ain't so far South 8-) )

while the bars on the phone shows the volume increasing, there is no difference on the carkit volume (unless you turn it right down, and then there is no sound  )

If I were you guys I'd email nokia and ask them to do something about it. I actually know someone who works there, I might ask him.

I think we've narrowed it down to only one model - the 6120. My Samsung worked perfectly. I have updated my phone software once already, but no joy. The nokia site has now done something so you can't update a 6120. Apparently they had some issues with the update. I spoke to my dealer about it when I had a service and they told me they had not heard anything of it.
