I got a little too close to the back of our grape harvester the other day  and got both my front windows glued closed with grape-juice - does that count? 8-)

Seriously though, I hope they fix it sooner than 3 weeks for you Robbo :o Did it just stop working?

My leccy window on driver's side has seen its fair share of 'adverse' conditions (water - mud - dust - grit........), with no hassles. (The ones on my last 80 series were getting real sloooooow by the time I sold it........)
Tip # 1 - Avoid stress & grief & low resale values with vehicles - do it once - do it right, buy a HILUX!!

Try giving all the runners a good soak with silicon spray

Had a set of elect widows stuff up on an old car. Had a electrical guy look at em and he gave me the best advice I have heard yet.

"Never use the auto down/up to the full extent." Have a listen to the motor as it keeps running until the electrics feels the power drain and turns it off. In that time damage is done to the motor/regulator. When doing it manually you can tell when the window is up/down quicker thus causing less wear and tear.

Made sense to me. No further problems since then although just jinxed myself I guess.
